We take a second to chat with electronic solo artist Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet. We first met Kieran on our last visit to Austin, TX for Fun Fun Fun Fest where he played one of the most impressive sets we experienced. Originally a member of Fridge in the late 90's, Hebden went on to make his own music under the name Four Tet and released his first album, Dialogue, in 1999. Since then, he has put out six more full-length albums, the latest being There Is Love In You featuring the lead single, Love Cry, which has been on our office playlist for quite some time. You can catch him on his current tour through Europe as well as some stops along the East Coast of the states. For more on Four Tet, head on over to his DOT COM and click around...

How do you spend your days?
Music and family usually.
How did you find music or music find you?
It's just always been there and became the main thing in my life without me even having to think about it.
How would you describe your music?
I wouldn't say much beyond it being electronic music.
What led you to evolve into a solo artist?

Nothing gets to you the way it does when you're a teenager....seeing the early Rage Against the Machine shows and stuff like that was mindblowing.

All that seems to matter is hanging out with my daughter these days.
What did you want to be growing up?
Train ticket collector.
