Julien Langendorff lives and works in Paris, France. His work combines papercuts, collages, mysterious installations, raw pen and ink drawings with esoteric stream of conscious poetry that is both totally sincere and eerily haunting. Twisted visions influenced by both gothic and hippie cultures, Black Sabbath, spiritism and diary-art, along the somehow dark teenage romantism that characterizes his art.
Julien also plays in Pillars Of Fire, a doom-psychedelic band formed with artist Jason Glasser.
He is currently represented in New York by Cinders Gallery and in Paris by Fat Galerie.
