JARED MELL
Insight’s wild affair with Jared Mell started way back in 2006. At the time Jared was sleeping on Alex Knost’s couch in Newport, CA. Just 18 years old, but born with cat-like paws, for prowling a log effortlessly, and instincts to match. We signed him up, and a month later he was Bali-bound on his first international trip headed for the ZOUP campaign, and has been our logging muse ever since.
These days, Jareds bringing old school to a new surfing world order. He’s been traveling the globe, brandishing his smooth style and switch skills, gaining a solid reputation and breaking hearts along the way.
Jared’s style flows from water to land, becoming the third team rider to be involved in our Signature Series capsule ranges. Mell infuses his ‘Surf-a-Billy’ charisma across the threads like no other to create a unique Summer time range.
